Casablanca, Morocco

Casablanca is modern and full of life, tourists can enjoy a place where Muslim customs are much more relaxed. The city’s architectural heritage is unique and there are no shortage of beautiful beaches where you can enjoy pleasant days by the water.

Areas:

City Center

This lively neighborhood has tons of attractions, restaurants, shopping spaces, and hotels that range from budget to luxury! With a modern touch that blends perfectly with some of the old buildings, the City Center is a top choice for where to stay in Casablanca. It’s perfect for anyone who loves to walk around from one landmark to another and not use any public transportation.

Old Medina

This neighborhood is also popular among backpackers so you’ll find a lot of affordable hotels and hostel rooms. Old Medina is quite magical, with its culture and legends and it encompasses that old Moroccan atmosphere. You won’t see any French elements here, only old traditional buildings and unique street art.

Stays:

Four Seasons Casablanca, La Corniche

Perfectly positioned beside Lalla Meryem Beach and the high-end retailers of Anfaplace Mall, the Four Seasons boasts one of the most desirable coastal addresses of any hotel in the city.

Grand Mogador City Center

My experience here was great. I needed a charger and they brought one to my room, they also provided room service. My room was upgraded and I was able to soak in the Morrocan oil in my large tub.

Restaurants: Glovo is the food delivery app.

Baan Tao Sushi - Thai

The food was great and I would of ordered it again, if I stayed in Casablanca longer.

Little Mamma

It is an Italian restaurant, freshly baked lasagna.

Activities:

Hassan II mosque: a symbol of the city

Hassan II mosque is an essential place to visit when in Casablanca. A true symbol of the city, its stands alongside the Atlantic, making it the tallest temple in the world.

La Corniche: a lovely promenade along the Atlantic

A great way to round off a visit to the magnificent Hassan II mosque is by taking a stroll long La Corniche, which is right next door and allows you to contemplate the important religious landmark in all its magnitude.

Gyms:

I used the hotel gym.

Passage Fitness

It is considered a luxurious sports and fitness center. When I visit Casablanca again, I plan to visit.
