Berlin, Germany
Berlin brings a lot of historical culture. It was impactful for me to go there to see that humans built a wall and humans also tore the wall down. We create ceilings in our life all the time. I didn't see many people that look like me, and still the people were kind and welcoming. It is the human condition to chose to love or to not love.
Areas:
Mitte (City Centre)
This is the tourist hub. You will find sites, tours, shops, cafes, restaurants, and clubs.
Prenzlauer Berg
This city is not as touristy, and it's laid-back energy makes it popular with families and people who desire more peaceful solitude.
Stays:
The Circus Hotel
This hotel offers highly comfortable rooms, an eye-catching design aesthetic and very upbeat and popular public areas, including a decent restaurant and bar. The location on bustling Rosenthaler Platz puts you right in the middle of the action, and service is especially friendly and attentive.
East Seven Berlin Hostel
This funky hostel, located on the southern fringes of pretty Prenzlauer Berg, has become one of the most popular budget spots in the city. Combining an intimate atmosphere with clean, smart rooms and decent facilities, it’s a laid-back, friendly and very well-run place.
Restaurants:
Wen Cheng Handpulled Noodles
They specialize in a spicy bowl of hand-pulled Shaanxi-style biang biang noodles. The brief menu centers around the silky wheat flour noodles, pulled into satisfyingly thick ribbons with the perfect amount of spring to the bite. Start with the beef noodles, sauced with soy, vinegar, and Sichuan peppers; they’re a staple, and the meat just melts in your mouth. If you don’t want to wait, consider jumping in the takeout line.
Adana Grillhaus
Adana is the most iconic Turkish grill at the heart of Berlin’s largest Turkish neighborhood. Grab a seat so you can watch the chefs grill spectacular lamb chops and minced adana (lamb) skewers over sizzling hot charcoals on an open fire. The trick to digesting all of the meat is to order cold mezze to start, followed by plenty of raki with ice and water.
Activities:
Berlin Wall
The Berlin Wall was a guarded concrete barrier that encircled West Berlin from 1961 to 1989, separating it from East Berlin. If you don't know about it, I recommend at least watching a YouTube video about it before you visit.
Brandenburg Gate
The Brandenburg Gate is one of the most iconic sights in today’s vibrant Berlin.

Drinks:
Klunkerkranich
Nesting on the top parking level, Klunkerkranich boasts one of the most spectacular views of Berlin. The wide range of beer and wine served at reasonable prices also helps to draw in the younger crowd.
Madame Claude
Housed inside a former brothel in Kreuzberg, Madame Claude certainly offers a unique drinking experience in Germany’s capital. You might feel like you’ve had one too many cocktails when you step inside this upside-down bar and discover tables and chairs playfully hanging from the ceiling. Every evening come 19.00, the venue becomes even more topsy-turvy when live concerns, guest DJ sessions, and music quizzes draw in a crowd.
Smokes:
Chillhouse Berlin
Equipped with bongs, papers, filters, and blunts.
