Amsterdam, Netherlands
Amsterdam is the most liberated city in reference to sexuality and substance use, I have visited thus far. The Red Light District is a must see for anyone exploring sexuality, and the coffee shops are a must experience for anyone willing to sample the greens (I am not talking about veggies) :) It was also pleasant to see so many bikes, so when you are walking you have to look out for cyclist, cars, trains, and buses. The people are kind, calm, and it appears willing to share (puff puff pass).
Areas:
De Wallen/ City Center
De Wallen contains the infamous Red Light District. There are also many bars, restaurants, clubs, and old churches. Everything was within walking distance for my stay, so I only needed an uber from and to the airport.
Stays:
AirBnB (BOAT) - Link Below
I decided to stay on the water this trip. I found it relaxing and refreshing to wake up on the water. All my needs were met (bed, bathroom, etc.) It was new years on my stay, and it was amazing to see fire works over the canal and all over the city. The host provided plenty of kindness and information on my trip.

Restaurants: I was all about the noodles this trip!
Wok To Walk
Wok To Walk was my go to this trip. It reminds me of subway, but with stir fry noodles. You choose your noodles, meats, veggies, and sauces. It hit the spot for me every time.
Wagamama Rembrandtplein
This is an Asian inspired restaurant (rice and more noodles), and surprisingly the juices were amazingly fresh. They have booths and communal tables, which makes it easy to strike up a conversation if you are traveling solo. I recommend the tropical (mango, apple, and orange) juice. The ramen and curry were also yummy.
Activities:
Canal Cruise
The Canal Cruise takes you along the canal, which it can be really nice to bask in the wind if the weather is nice. Some cruises give more information than others, some have hookahs, snacks, and drinks. Be sure you enjoy the company of whomever you decide to go with if you are traveling with others.
Anne Frank House
It can only be visited with a ticket bought online. Be sure you have the tickets for the right Anne Frank Tour, because there are other tours about Anne Frank.
Gyms:
Basic-Fit Fitness Amsterdam
This gym had everything I needed (weights, cardio, locker rooms with showers). It was easy to obtain a day pass, and the staff let me know for future reference I need to bring a towel (it's a gym rule). That was a first for me, so he let me slide this one time without a towel.
Drinks:
Rosalia's Menagerie
This place has seasonal cocktail menus. There are not many tables, but the ambiance is nice. The cocktails are delicious and on the upper end of the price scale. If you are with others, I recommend trying to reserve a space before arriving here.
The End Karaoke Amsterdam
The drinks were cheaper as compared to Rosalia's Menagerie. The ambiance was different of course. I am a fan of mixing singing and alcohol, it can be quite therapeutic. It is important to be self-aware, know your limits, and when it's time to go home. Lol.
Smokes:
Barney's Coffee Shop
Barney's was my first stop on my trip. It was cool to see all the greens. The staff was kind and was willing to let me explore (smell and see) all the greenery. After exploring, you make an order and smoke. The space is small, so you probably will meet other people here if you decide to sit and smoke.
There were plenty of coffee shops and shops in general to explore greenery. If you walk around the city center you will notice plenty of options.
Sexuality:
Red Light District
This place is infamous, and now I know why! The beautiful ladies stand in the glass door that have curtains on them. They market their assets, and people line up at the door for an opportunity to enter. If you are lucky enough to enter, the door opens and the curtain closes. Behind the curtain, I will allow you to use your imagination!
Sexmuseum Amsterdam
This place is packed with interesting displays and content. They have fun facts about the historical artifacts, that will get your mind stimulated. It really brings the universal sexual energy to life, which connects us all. You will hear some giggles and maybe even some grunts! For clarity: having your own physical sexual experience is not permitted here.
