Everything heals and grows when it is loved. People too. - Brianna Wiest
Whether it’s a plant, an animal, or a person—when it is consistently nurtured, seen, and valued—it begins to bloom.
Psychologically, love isn’t just a feeling. It’s a powerful relational force that rewires the brain. Studies in attachment theory show that when we feel safe and loved, our nervous systems regulate, our stress levels drop, and the parts of our brain associated with fear begin to experience calm. Love is a medicine. It heals
And this is especially true for people who have been hurt. When someone has been rejected, ignored, or abandoned, they often internalize that as self-blame or shame. But when they’re met with consistent care—without needing to earn it—they begin to believe they are worthy of love, simply for existing. That belief can change everything.
We see it in nature: a flower wilts without sunlight, but give it warmth, water, and care, and it blooms again. people, like all living things, were made to grow. And love is the light that helps us do it.
